Sarcasm and other Witty Remarks
Envy Me:
What about me? Well, I am a glitter/anything shimmering whore. Do not ask me why, I just like shiny, sparkling things. A self professed observant with an eagle's eye for beauty and of course of the nasty kind. I also spit venom. You'll be suprised how heavy my bag is. I love cakes and ice cream. Either you love or hate me. Do not get in between me and my jackets and coats. And makeup. Make-up junkie. Multi-tasking; able to talk to callers and put on my make-up.

Something Borrowed

I finally watched the movie "Something Borrowed". It is aromantic comedy film based on Emily Giffin's book of the same name, directed by Luke Greenfield, and starring Ginnifer Goodwin, Kate Hudson, Colin Egglesfield and John Krasinski.

Rachel White (Ginnifer Goodwin) is a single, talented attorney working in a New York law firm. After too many drinks on her 30th birthday, Rachel grabs a cab with Dex (Colin Egglesfield) and playfully reveals she has had a crush on him since law school.

The problem is, Dex is also her best friend Darcy's (Kate Hudson) fiancé. They wake up in bed together the next morning to Darcy calling both of their phones. Dex sneaks out and they do not have time to speak about what happened between them. What Rachel thinks is a one night stand, is actually the beginning of an emotional roller coaster once Dex tells Rachel he is in love with her too.

Ethan (John Krasinski) has been friends with Darcy & Rachel since childhood. He is the only one who knows what has happened between Rachel & Dex, which he has vowed to keep secret. And here where the complications begin...

I swear I never have cried inside again while watching a movie. I was so engrossed in the movie! I was crying, swearing, talking to myself and laughing... like a crazy person! Some of the lessons here in this movie:

  • go and get what you want (without stepping anyone on the process)
  • value your friendship/s
  • be honest with yourself
  • got to love yourself

I swear you have to watch this movie! Highly recommended!
